OMGGG I'M DOING IT!!!!

Hey Dolls!!!! OMG! I can't believe I am starting my own blog site! Now I am a rambler so please bare with me!

So I will tell you a little background story about lil ol' me!

So my name is KeeKee and i'm a twenty-something from New Jersey. I ADORE ADORE fashion, shopping, and of course taking care of my natural hair!

Now it's not really known for ladies from Jersey such as myself to be naturalista's but so far I am LOVING the movement!!!

I have been fully natural for two years and counting!! I know the struggle ladies trust me when you are transitioning, because I slowly transitioned into my afro. So I KNOW what you are going through.

Here is a picture of my stages of transitioning.....looks simple right!!!

**The first pic was taken back in 2009 I believe when I was a relaxer JUNKIE! my hair was so damage it was really bad. I relaxed my hair myself every 4-6 weeks to the point the middle of my hair was thinned out where I was almost bald, and the nape of my hair (neckline) was broken off really bad. My scalp stayed with burns from relaxers, and I was just OVER IT!

**The second picture to your right was taken one full year after I went fully all natu'ral! I was loving my little fro!!

**Third pic bottom left is to show how my curl pattern changed...I'm so not good with curl patterns..I'm like a 4A/C... honestly..I have ZERO clue lol.

**Last pic is me with my curly fro! More details to follow how I achieve this staple look.

 

 

 

So my blog will basically give details and descriptions on how I take care of my hair and some suggestions on how to care for your natural hair. I am still work in progress but first thing first is PATIENCE PATIENCE PATIENCE!! You have to show love and care to your natural hair, and yes dolls trial and error is the best way to learn! What may work for me may not work for you, but I will provide details, tutorials, and I am always open to suggestions and sharing your thoughts. :-)
